I had a sort-of crazy moment this afternoon. After eating lunch, I went to my parents' bedroom to watch CNN with my Dad while surfing the internet. Barack Obama is the newly-elected president of the USA. But my sort-of crazy moment has no relation to that. My Dad became sleepy so he turned off the TV. I turned off my laptop and went downstairs to the living room. I brought my bag and Moleskine with me. I read the entries in my Moleskine. After that, I just sat on the couch and stared at the old piano. Lots of things ran through my head:
- I'm so bored
- I'm such a procrastinator
- I need to finish my students' report cards
- I want to go somewhere
- I'm so bored
- I'm getting broke soon
- I have to go out
- I hate myself
- The world is crazy and it's making me crazy too
- AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!
I immediately went upstairs and changed clothes. I need to go out and walk to clear my head. While changing, I suddenly thought of Coffee Bean. I then decided that I would go to Coffee Bean even if I'm close to getting broke. I would finish my students' report cards there while drinking coffee. So I went.
The place was not crowded. I guess most coffee-lovers were at Starbucks to get stickers for their planners. I ordered a regular Mocha Latte. Mmmm... I started to feel good. I then got my students' report cards and worked on them. After I was done, I went outside to window shop. I suddenly thought of Fully Booked so I went there. I strolled in the store for around 30 minutes. I didn't have plans of buying anything but this book appealed to me so I bought it.
